About

Want to ride with more purpose, confidence, and connection? This service brings together the science of occupational therapy and the art of horsemanship, for equestrians who want to grow, not grind.

This unique service supports equestrians and their equine partners in building stronger, more connected, and more sustainable performance, both in and out of the saddle.

As an Occupational Therapist and lifelong horse lover, I bring a holistic lens to the riding partnership. Whether you're a competitive rider, passionate hobbyist, or somewhere in between, we explore all the moving parts that impact your performance: you (the rider), your horse, your environment, and your shared occupation - riding.

What to Expect

  • Rider Support

Explore sensory processing, mindset, self-regulation, body awareness, and posture as they impact your riding and relationship with your horse.

  • Horse Analysis

Learn how to assess your horse’s movement, posture, and behaviour from a functional, wellbeing-centred perspective—helping you become a better partner and advocate.

  • Occupation-Focused Approach

We look at your discipline (e.g., dressage, showjumping, trail, groundwork) as an “occupation” and explore how to improve performance through better engagement, connection, and mutual wellbeing.

  • Environment & Routine Review

We examine your horse's daily routine, training methods, and environmental setup to enhance health and performance on both sides of the reins.

  • Education & Skill Building

Gain practical tips and tailored strategies to fine-tune your horse–human connection, prevent burnout (yours and your horse’s!), and ride with more clarity and purpose.

Who it's For

  • Equestrians wanting deeper partnership with their horse

  • Riders experiencing anxiety, fatigue, burnout, or plateaued performance

  • Those looking to build confidence and self-awareness in the saddle

  • Owners wanting to better understand and support their horse’s posture, behaviour, and performance

  • Professionals or serious hobbyists across any riding discipline

Benefits:

  • Rider Awareness & Regulation

Build emotional regulation, sensory balance, and confidence—skills that transfer directly to performance and connection in the saddle.

  • Functional Horse Assessment

Understand how your horse’s physical habits, posture, and nervous system state affect their comfort, willingness, and movement.

  • Strengthened Partnership

Improve mutual trust, communication, and ease between you and your horse.

  • Occupation + Performance Clarity

View your discipline through the lens of occupational performance—what supports it, what challenges it, and how to optimise it sustainably.

  • Injury & Burnout Prevention

Create balance in your training, rest, and emotional load—for both you and your horse.
