Meet Lucy

Director/ Sole Practitioner

Lucy rubbing Peanut's nose

I engage the power and wisdom of horses and nature to support each and every client to connect, ground, feel and be one with themselves. My services are slow, and bit by bit, change the nervous system in both horse and human. My mission is to create increased physical, mental and emotional balance in horses and humans, and help them to heal and grow, together.

I have experience in supporting Neurodivergent individuals, as well as various mental health needs. My services are aimed at 12 years and older, and while I am a therapist at heart, I am also available for Groundwork Coaching and Training

Relevant Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (with Honours) from the University of the Sunshine Coast
- Equine and Nature Assisted Psychotherapy from the Equine Psychotherapy Institute of Australia

- Kelly Mahler Interoception Curriculum

- Level 1 Equine Functional Posture: Stability to Strength by Integrated Veterinary Therapeutics (current)

About Lucy & Peanut

Peanut and I have been a dedicated and connected pair since 2021. Together, we have been able to heal and grow, and our journey is not over. Peanut has provided me with the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge to assist others with their horses and their personal journey.

Our journey has been an incredible, but challenging one, and I can't wait to share our experience, knowledge and expertise with you to help take the hardest but most incredible steps with horses, with yourself or with nature. If you'd like to know more about our journey and what we can offer, contact me today and follow us on our socials!
